Water is the key to LIFE Going up a level – Open day in N2000 Drents-Friese Wold &Leggelderveld

On May 21; there will be an public day around the visitors center National Park Drents-Friese Wold in Appelscha/ The Netherlands. In the festivities we combine the European Day of the parks and the celebrating of 25th anniversary of Natura 2000 and LIFE. This public day is open for all how are interested and will take place from 11:00-16:00 pm. We offer a varied program. Children can make clover bombs and have a try on the bare feet ' path. And, besides music and theater and there will be several guided tours. By foot and by bike we come by locations where measures are to be taken to improve the hydrological system and to moderate the climate changes. In the field tours around the woods; stream valley grasslands; wet heathlands and fens will also be attention to the project LIFE + Going up a level: More water for wet habitats types in Natura 2000 Drents-Friese Wold & Leggelderveld.
