URBAN SEWAGE SLUDGE: FROM WASTE TO RESOURCE LIFE Lo2x EVENT (LIFE12 ENV/ES/000477)
Life LO2X project “Supercritical water co-oxidation (SCWcO) of urban sewage sludges and wastes” (www.lo2x.com) LIFE12 ENV/ES/000477 is holding its final event in Paterna (Valencia, Spain) on 20th June 2017 under the title “URBAN SEWAGE SLUDGE: FROM WASTE TO RESOURCE”. The event is organised by AINIA (www.ainia.es) the project’s coordinating beneficiary, together with IMECAL (www.imecal.com), IVEM (www.ivem.es ), SCFI (www.scfi.eu) and URBASER (www.urbaser.es) to coincide with the LIFE programme's 25th anniversary celebrations.
The LO2X project aim has been to demonstrate the environmental and socio-economic benefits of a synergic co-treatment of sewage sludge and wastes (raw or digested manure, high load food processing wastes, pesticides, leachates and others) with energy and phosphorus recovery through supercritical water co-oxidation (SCWcO).
The final event aims to share the results of the project among stakeholders and authorities, and to boost synergies and cooperation among related projects. The workshop is specially addressed to projects and stakeholders in the field of wastewater and waste treatment.
The event will be held in AINIA (C/Benjamín Franklin 5-11. Parque Tecnológico de Valencia, 46980 Paterna-Valencia). Registrations can be done via this mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
