  • End date: 14/05/2017

Yearly cleanup of Gyaros beaches. Gyaros, an uninhabited island of Northern Cyclades, part of the Natura 2000 network since 2011, hosts 10% of the endangered Mediterranean Monk Seal population. Each year before the breeding period starts, the CYCLADES LIFE team together with volunteers clean up its beaches from debris in order to make sure that Monk Seals give birth to clean and safe beaches. This year's clean-up will be dedicated to the LIFE 25 years.
